Tolerances and clearances
General bearing specifications
- Tolerances, radial clearance and recommended fits: Class 1
- Materials
Radial contact ball bearings with seals or shields are designed to accommodate radial loads and some axial loads in either direction. One bearing series is based on a single cross section which remains constant as the bore diameter increases, leading to significant space and weight savings. The bearings are not recommended for applications having continuous rotation.
- Accommodate radial and some axial loads in both directions
- Extremely thin cross section
- Lightweight
- Chemical and corrosion resistance
- Low friction
- High stiffness
- High running accuracy
