General bearing specifications
- Tolerances, radial clearance and recommended fits:
- Endurakote bearings: Class 1, Class 1, Class 3, Class 4
- bearings: Class 1
- other bearings: Class 1, Class 1, Class 3, Class 4, Class 6
- Materials
Radial contact ball bearings with seals or shields are designed to accommodate radial loads and some axial loads in either direction. One bearing series is based on a single cross section which remains constant as the bore diameter increases, leading to significant space and weight savings. The bearings are available with and inch boundary dimensions. Depending on the design and series the bearings can be provided with chemical and corrosion resistance.
- Accommodate radial and some axial loads in both directions
- Thin cross section
- Lightweight
- Low friction
- High stiffness
- High running accuracy
